In climate and health work, environmental justice is at the heart of what we do. We care when conditions are not fair. We care for the groups most affected by climate change. In Montana, some of the groups would be: people of lower income, pregnant women and women in general, fetuses-infants-children, outdoor workers, indigenous peoples, rural people.

The unhoused |
The unhoused are at greater risk from climate change. It is a threat multiplier, just making conditions harder. There is less relief from extreme weather including precipitation events and heat waves. Climate change increases the risk of limited or contaminated water supply. We are in the process of interviewing some of the unhoused in Montana to see where our work can align with them.
