Checks
Checks can be sent to our mailing address:
P.O. Box 1972, Red Lodge, MT 59068
Endowment Giving
We have an endowment through the Billings Community Foundation. Gifts to an endowment can qualify for the Montana Endowment Tax Credit, a 1:1 tax credit for up to 40% of your Montana state income taxes, in addition to the usual credit for charitable giving. You can give to our endowment directly through the Billings Community Foundation.

Bequests and Beneficiary
A beneficiary designation is usually directly listed on your IRA, 401k, Life Insurance, real estate, or other property. A bequest is a gift of assets designated through a will or trust. See our recommended bequest language here.
IRA Distributions
If you are 70.5 years of age or older, you can make a donation directly from your IRA. Starting at age 73, you are required to take a distribution but can donate up to $105,000 per individual and avoid otherwise associated income tax. Ask your IRA custodian to write a check directly to Montana Health Professionals for a Healthy Climate. Send checks to PO Box 1972, Red Lodge, MT 59068.
Donor advised funds
Donor Advised Funds are an increasingly popular giving tool, especially for batching your charitable contributions to get the most tax benefit in a single transaction. If you have one, submit a request to your DAF custodian for a grant to Montana Health Professionals for a Healthy Climate,  EIN 83-3164007.
Interested in setting up a DAF? Our partners at the Billings Community Foundation can help!
Thank you for your interest in funding our work! Montana Health Professionals for a Healthy Climate is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, and all donations are tax-deductible. Your generosity is the reason we're able to educate providers, advocate for patients, and lead the way to a more sustainable healthcare system in Montana.
MTHPHC is grateful for the continued leadership of the foremost authorities on climate health in this place: the Selish, Ql̓ispe,& Ksanka, Niitsitapi (Pikuni), Annishinabe (Ne-i-yah-wahk), A’aninin, Nokado & Nakona, Lakota & Dakota, Tsetshessthase & So'taa'eo'o, Apsáalooke, and Annishinabe/Metis (Little Shell Band) nations. We endeavor to follow their examples, remembering those who have passed before us, and caring for future generations.
