Beginning at 6pm May 5 through 6pm May 6, Montanans have the opportunity to support the nonprofits in our communities and the causes they serve.
Help us reach our goal of $5000 on this day of generosity.
What We Do:
MontanaHPHC's headquarters is in Red Lodge but we serve all of Montana. When it comes to climate, all of us are affected. We work with communities across the state on climate planning and action steps. We have student groups at UM and Carroll College. We get dozens of OpEds published in our papers every year, dozens of presentations to communities and churches and health groups. We work with city, county, and state government. We work with local, state, and national groups on conferences on climate. We collaborate with other nonprofits concerned about the climate, such as the "Don't Fall for Gas" campaign with MEIC and the MtClimateStories project with Families for a Livable Climate. Dozens of schools across the state have joined the Air Quality Flag Program through our outreach this year.
This spring, it is easy for our statewide community of climate -concerned Montanans to give through the campaign platform of their choice.
How you Giving Days donation supports us:
First, MontanaHPHC members donated over 2000 volunteer hours to the organization last year. But funding will allow us to have a part-time coordinator to assist with outreach, social media, website upkeep, and organizational issues.
