elected officials

Reach out to our elected officials, old and new. Let them know from the get-go that there are lots of Montanans that care about climate and health. We are not referencing specific bills.

Sample message:
I am a (career) and a  constituent from (city/town). I care about climate change because I care about the health of Montanans. The changing climate is already affecting Montanans with worsening droughts and wildfires, more extreme weather events, more extreme heat.  These issues increase my patient's  risk heart attacks and strokes, mental health issues, preterm birth, and many other medical conditions.
I want to see meaningful action to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions, any of which will also decrease the particulate matter in the air, and improve health outcomes.
Sincerely,
XXX (please include e-mail and phone number)
