Description of event
The student chapter of Montana Health Professionals for a Healthy Climate is hosting a film screening of the 90-minute documentary 2040on the University of Montana campus (University Center theater) on April 19th, 5:30 pm. This documentary is a hopeful look at what the world cold look like a few decades in the future if people worldwide implemented existing climate resilience solutions now on both a community level and global scale. Immediately following the film, four local climate leaders will engage in a 30-minute panel discussion. Using the film as a springboard for inspiration and conversation, the panelists will explore what Montana could like a few decades in the future if we implemented existing innovations and best practices to create more climate-resilient communities in our state.

Gwen Lankford (President/Owner of Sapphire Strategies, Inc)
Caroline Bean (Missoula County Climate Action Plan Manager)
